Good news/Bad news

Let's start with the good news:
He's here!
Brady Kyle M. was born January 21st, 2013 at 1:14 pm weighing in at 6 lbs 14 oz.
(Birth story to come.)

Bad news:
He is obviously premature, born at 35 1/2 weeks.
He is in the NICU and will probably have to stay there for roughly 2 weeks, give or take depending on how well he does.
Right now, he's getting respiratory support and today they had to put in a chest tube to release built up air on the outside of his lungs. Hopefully though, they can remove the chest tube in the next couple of days, and he can be taken off the C-pap.
*Fingers Crossed*

Here's a sneak peak at our little man.

Mama is doing well, just sore of course. Trying to "take it easy," but with running up to the hospital all the time, that's easier said than done.

I'll try to keep updating on Brady's progress during our journey with the NICU, and I'll post our birth story ASAP.
Until then, pray for our premie!
Much love,
