I realize it's been a while since I've done a pregnancy update. Here's what's going on this week!
How far along: 34 weeks
Baby's Development This Week: Baby is around 4.75 to 5 lbs, about the size of the average cantaloupe, and is about 18 inches long. Baby generally at this point stops growing longer and is just putting on that precious baby fat that we all love. (These stats are just a generalization of course. At the past couple of ultrasounds, he was measuring a week ahead in development, so he might be a little bigger/longer!)
Total weight gain: I am still 4 pounds under my pre-pregnancy weight.
Symptoms: Alot has changed here. I can definitely tell I'm nearing the end. Baby has definitely "dropped," so I feel SUPER heavy. I feel like I have to hold my belly up just to walk around, and I'm definitely waddling at this point. Also, I feel more tired, exhausted than ever before in my life, but that comes with the territory I suppose, as well as some minor swelling of my feet and ankles. The nausea has crept back, but it's nothing horrible. I figure it's just because I don't have any room left in there, or from baby pushing on my stomach. I can only eat a few bites at a time now and I feel completely full. Other than that, the cholestasis has its own symptoms, and the itching is pretty bad, but I try to just keep my mind off of it. The Urso is helping, plus I take like 3 showers a day to try to help when I start itching really bad.
Cravings: Just random and weird stuff. Yesterday, I was going to die if I didn't get a rice krispie treat, so thankfully the hubster stopped at the store and got me one. Today, I want apple juice.
Sleep: Sleep? What's that? Not a lot of that is happening for me. I can't get comfortable, I have to turn over every 5 minutes, which is quite an ordeal I might add. I have to pee 10x a night. I get hot, then I get cold. I get horrible leg/feet cramps. Yeah....my body is definitely preparing me for those sleepless newborn nights, that's for sure.
Maternity Clothes?: Of course.
Stretchmarks?: Definitely getting a few, but not bad.
Movement?: He must never sleep. He's constantly kicking, jabbing, poking, and he just loves to stretch as far as he can, pushing straight down while getting his feet locked in my ribs! Ouch!
Gender?: All boy!!!
Belly Button In or Out?: In.
Wedding Rings On or Off?: On.
Goal for the Upcoming Week: Just make it without going into labor, which I can just sense is close!
And he're the exciting part of the post, the name reveal! (Get excited!)
Our baby boy is going to be called....
...wait for it...
Brady Kyle!
Brady is the ONLY name that Jake and I could agree on, and that was with a lot of compromise, and Kyle is Jake's middle name as well, so since it's our only boy, I thought it was appropriate he be named after his daddy. I had a whole list of names that I just loved, but Jake nixed almost ALL of them. Brady is family name on my side, so I have always had it on our list, and thankfully Jake loved it. He also has a friend named Brady, so that helped him like the name I suppose.
So, there we have it.
Well, hopefully I'll have some news tomorrow after we leave the doctor.
Until next time,

Love the name!! So exciting! :)
